Lilla Smith has been involved with the planning and design of libraries, corporate interiors, healthcare projects and residences. Currently, she is the senior associate-in-charge for the 311 West Broadway Residential Condominiums and Retail in downtown Manhattan; Riverview Residential Condominiums in North Bergen, New Jersey; and Albany Marina, a new resort village on New Providence Island in the Bahamas.
Her recently completed projects include the Glenstone outside Washington, D.C.; the Akron-Summit County Public Library in Akron, Ohio; and the Malibu Residence in Malibu, California. She was also the Senior Associate-in-Charge of The New York Public Library's Mid-Manhattan Library renovation and expansion project and the PaineWebber executive offices in New York City.
Additionally, Ms. Smith has completed the Bentley Health Care Corporate Offices and contributed significantly to such projects as the David Geffen Foundation Building in Beverly Hills, California; the Center for the Arts at the State University of New York at Buffalo; and the East Academic Complex of Hostos Community College, a campus of The City University of New York located in the Bronx. A registered architect and member of the American Institute of Architects, Ms. Smith joined the office in 1987 and was named a senior associate in 2000.
