Mark Hill offers extensive experience as a project architect in the design, management and construction administration of technically complex projects. Currently working on a New York City apartment renovation, he was previously the associate in charge of construction for the conversion of a 1920's midtown Manhattan hotel as the Windsor Park Residential Condominium. For the Middlebury College Library in Middlebury, VT, and the Jewish Children's Museum in Brooklyn, NY, he served as the associate in charge and project architect.
Mr. Hill has been involved in two significant New York City projects: The New York Public Library's Science, Industry and Business Library where he was project architect and the Saint Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center and its administrative offices where he was the project architect and construction architect from design through completion. He was project architect during the initial phases of the David Geffen Foundation Building in Beverly Hills, CA, and held a similar position for a private residential project in Malibu, CA.
Prior to joining Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Mr. Hill participated in the planning and design of several large scale projects, holding such positions as associate, project architect, project manager and director of technical services. His related professional activities have included serving as an adjunct professor and lecturer at FIT's Interior Design Department and as an architectural design critic at Cornell in Ithaca, NY.
Mark Hill joined Gwathmey Siegel & Associates in 1994 and was promoted to Associate in 2001.
